You can navigate to specific addresses, intersections, or, with the touch of a single button, to the center of town. Along your route, you can also find several different points of interest, including restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and more. Six million of them are loaded into the system. You can also customize your route options, and take only the types of roads you prefer. The navigator comes loaded with detailed maps of the U.S. and Canada, which display on the screen as you drive. Fourteen zoom levels and 3-D views of intersections make using these maps easy, and you get voice prompts that tell you exactly when you'll need to make your next move. Should traffic incidents occur when you're on a route in a real-time traffic coverage area, alerts show up in easy-to-read dialog bubbles on the screen. The system will use color coding to show you average traffic speeds on the roads ahead of you. Cobra's iASAP system locks on to satellite signals quickly and keeps a tight hold on them. You'll receive constant guidance, even when you're driving through obstructed areas like tall buildings in the middle of a city. Should you miss a turn, the system recalculates your route automatically. And if you like going off-road, you can record the trails you ride as you go, making it easier to come back to them later.
