I could have gotten the merchandise cheaper at another site, but I got free shipping from HP, so it paid to get it directly from them. I got a good price on the item I wanted and their service is excellent, too.
I had gone to an HP Store/Warehouse in Burlingtom, MA and saw the printers immediately since I knew exactly what I wanted my choice was limited to the one printer I had in mind. It was in stock, I made the oder in person, and paid for it via my Visa Gift card.
HP offered a promotion of a cash card if ordering two ink cartridges. I ordered three ink cartridges. After I did not get the cash card, I emailed their customer support. My printer is set up to warn me well in advance of ink running out. When the "low level" alarm activates, the software offers to connect with HP for replacement ink. Was told the order was complete then the next day was told that the item was no longer being sold. Did not like the way this order flow was handled. Will not even try to use the web site again and will tell others how this company works.
I enjoyed doing business with the store overall, but, as with most business, you get offer, after offer, for things you do not need, nor want. I wish all stores would just take the order, and, finish. It isn't unusual, however, as everyone seems to want to sell you more, and, more stuff. Overall, HP is good.
