Of the two lamps I received, one of the bases was dented. Since it was toward the back, I didn't bother going thru the hassle of returning the lamp, although I was disappointed.

I had 2 separate orders. One order had two items: 1 item was broken and the 2nd item I just received this week (I did call customer service about the status of the 2nd item). The broken order was reordered and I received it 2 days later - fantastic. My 1st order I called 3 weeks after about the status and customer service had to call the manufacturer... More

While products which are handmade will have fluctuations, they were much more pronounced. Shipping and web site are first rate.
