Items in both packages had been damaged by the poor packing method. Since no response to this issue ever came from CS, I ended up repairing the damaged items in my wood shop.
I am very satisfied with Stacks&Stacks' customer service and website. However, I have ordered twice from them and both times have had to return the product. This may have been resolved if the website had better close ups of the product.
The DVD shelves were very hard for even my strong 20 year old to put together. They aren't that stable. I expected better for the cost. Still, they hold a lot of DVDs and they aren't falling over while against a wall, so that's okay.
The shelves were cheap much lighter wood/fux wood than anticipated. The staining process is very shabby and has several nicks. There were not enough of the knobs to cover up the holes.
This is not the first order I had placed with Stacks and Stacks, the merchandise has always arrived promptly, the tracking sytem is excellent, and the merchandise has always met my expectations.
