Overall it is a fairly good website. To look something up by name is sometimes tricky. It works much better if you have the actual item number from the catalog. Shipping rates are high to ship to your house. Cheaper to ship to the store. It is easier to returns items by just taking them to the store.

Order from jcp all the time without problems. Latest order has not yet been finalized so I do not yet know shipping charges etc. and cannot yet track item which is an ottoman.

I was referred to the online store for specialty merchandise that was not carried in the store. My purchase was for apparel for a disabled person. I will not make the mistake I made before I shopped on line with Penneys. It is exhausting to go from store to store when looking for an item and there is none available. And disappointing. Went to Penneys and bought robe. Exactly what I wanted. On line. This taught me a valuable lesson. Could have ordered it earlier and had it when I needed it... More

I have purchased clothes, shoes and jewelry. With the exception of one pair of shoes - they were squeaky and the material looked cheap, I have been very happy.
