Product did not work as delivered. Husband opened unit and found some wires not connected. Unit works fine now. If husband was not good at mechanical repairs would have had to return product.
The item that I purchased, a Danby dehumidifier, was louder than I expected. However, I am using it in the basement and it did become less noisy after a few days of use. It does work well.
