The merchant's cred cd verif syst declined the order -no reason, My card co. was NEVER contacted. Their, alleged, e mail did not reach me, but the order confirm did. So no timely delivery, and they pay to expedite it, locally it was $50 more .
I received by mail a statement indicating one of the items is in backorder. That should had been pointed out at time of purchase and maybe I would had made a different selection. Further, no indication was given on future delivery of backorder item.

I was a little disappointed that the item we ordered online was actually out-of-stock. However, a customer service representative from Irv's contacted us immediately to inform us of this. That was good.
I called customer support for a tracking numbre the lady said she would call me back.Never did.I think it would of been great if I would of received a call back, in regards to my question.
I contacted Irvs by telephone and by e-mail and have not yet gotten a response to my e-mail. Our order was never shipped due to an error on Irvs part and then no effort was made by the customer service rep to expedite the order once I called. It was a very disappointing experience and while I have recommended Irvs in the past, I would not again.
I ordered it on a Sunday 08/03/08 expecting it to be delivered by Friday (5 - 7 days). It wasn't even shipped until Thursay 08/08/08. I had a trip planned. I realize express shipping was available, however I thought it would be shipped Monday 08/04/08.
