The LMS-522c did not comme with speed and distance. In the book I noticed that the LMS-527 did for $50.00 more. Did a chat online with Boater's World and they wanted $100.00 for the option but could not even tell me what additional parts needed to be ordered. I ended up having to order from manufacturer for $50.00.
Information on various items was inadequate. Had to go to other competitors to find the info I needed on most items. Marinco wiper motor(36110) info did not in any way mention SHAFT LENGTH. This info is imperitive when one orders a wiper motor. I chose you because of the ease of getting items into Canada.
Watch was way too large. Information did not list it as an extra large size watch. Also, I was told in the store that I would get loyalty credit for purchase. When I called in to order, the rep told me this was not possible. There needs to be better coordination between the stores and .com services.
I ORDERED 4 GRAY BOAT SEATS AND ONE WAS ALMOST WHITE ALL THE OTHERS WERE DARK GRAY. ALSO EACH BOX WAS A DIFFERENT SIZE LIKE IT HAD BEEN RETURNED AND THEN SENT TO ME, TWO HAD NO PAPERWORK INSIDE. ONE SEAT HAS A SMALL RIP AT THE TOP.
I don't understand why I cannot use Captain's Club certificates through the online site. I was told that the online store and the retail stores are different companies. I don't have this same problem with West Marine.
I plan on being a long term boatersworld client. It would be nice if everyone could sign up for the T-shirt of the month club and have the shirts sent out monthly.
