- Cons: a long wire antenna attachment really helps reception.

I found that using a longwire attachment (found at Radio Shack or most electronics shops) really helped the reception. I live in the southeastern US and easily tuned in Korean,Japanese, and European Stations. I also have another shortwave radio I paid 79. ...
