- REVIEW-CANON EOS 450D DSLR
by terry - Pros: The underlying picture quality from the camera is superb. There is a wide dynamic range and noise is not an issue. Even out of focus, underexposed backgrounds are noise free. Auto white balance is generally good, except under incasdescent lights. The flas
- Cons: Keep in mind that all of the above is praise for the camera body, not the lenses. The cheap kit lenses are not good enough for the body. When fitted with a good quality lens you see what the camera can really do.
- Comments:
This 12 megapixel camera is Canon's cheapest DSLR. We tried the twin lens kit with an 18-55 and a 55-250mm lens. Construction of camera and lenses uses much plastic material, so it is light but insubstantial. The LCD screen also serves as the function dis... - Read full review at dpexpert.com.au

- Canon Rebel XSi Review
by David Rasnake - Pros: Low-noise sensor raises the bar for entry-level DSLRs, Loads of JPEG processing control in camera, AF system still among the best, Lots of customizability
- Cons: Camera doesn't feel as nice as it is, Revised kit lens still not so hot, Live view may or may not be useful, Default processing not as vibrant as some competitors
- Comments:
With its long-running Rebel series of consumer DSLRs, Canon has earned a reputation for cranking out new models on a consistent timetable that are rarely revolutionary, and yet often set the pace for the entry-level market nonetheless. Canon EOS 450D / Digital Rebel XSi review
by Gordon Laing- Pros: Good handling and image quality., Decent viewfinder and accurate Live View., Kit includes stabilised lens., PC remote control software supplied.,
- Cons: Live View not as fuss-free as Sony A350., Screen fixed in position, unlike A350., Some may find it too small and light.
- Comments:
The Canon EOS 450D / Rebel XSi is a powerful DSLR for the money and a worthy successor to the best-selling EOS 400D / XTi. Canon has sensibly followed Nikon's winning strategy for the D80 and instead of aiming at the lowest price-point, has gone for a mor... - Read full review at cameralabs.com
